Happy Tail Pet Supply is a woman-owned, family-run business built from a deep love of dogs, a passion for proper nutrition, and a lifelong commitment to giving back to animals in need.

Like so many dog lovers, I’ve always had dogs in my life — and I truly can’t imagine it any other way. I’m currently a proud fur-mom to rescue dog Elsie, with Rocky & Bella forever held in my heart as the two incredible bully breeds who helped shape everything Happy Tail has become.

Happy Tail Pet Supply was born shortly after I adopted my first bully breed. That experience opened my eyes to the misunderstood nature of pit bulls and sparked a lifelong passion for advocacy, education, and giving back to the animal community in meaningful ways. At the time, I was working a demanding full-time job, and I realized that building an online business was the most realistic way I could create ongoing support for my local rescue community — even with limited time. While most people were sleeping, I was building Happy Tail at night as a way to help animals during the hours I couldn’t physically volunteer.

Today, that mission continues to guide everything we do.

At the heart of Happy Tail is our commitment to rescue and advocacy. While our current team is led by rescue dog Elsie, the real-life journeys of all our past and present dogs continue to shape the products we carry, the nutrition guidance we provide, and the way we support our community. We proudly give back by supporting local rescues and animal welfare groups, helping provide food, supplies, and resources to dogs who need it most.

We specialize in raw pet food, natural nutrition, single-ingredient chews, carefully selected supplements, and enrichment products we trust for our own dogs. We believe that what you feed your pet directly impacts their health, behavior, performance, and quality of life — and we’re here to guide you every step of the way with honesty and heart.

Happy Tail Pet Supply does not sell products that cause fear, pain, or harm, including shock collars, choke chains, e-collars, or invisible fencing. We believe in positive reinforcement, trust-based training, and building strong relationships between pets and their people.

We’re also passionate about environmental responsibility. Whenever possible, we reuse clean packaging materials to reduce waste. When reuse isn’t an option, we choose recycled or biodegradable materials whenever available. We also make a conscious effort to source products made in the USA whenever possible to reduce our carbon footprint and support American small businesses.

Around here, I’m known as “the treat lady” — because I almost always have a pocket full of high-value treats. Pet nutrition truly fascinates me, and I love seeing how the right food can help animals not just survive… but thrive. I continue to expand my education in raw feeding and herbal support, and I’m passionate about sharing what I learn with our Happy Tail community every day.
